This contributor distinctly remembers his introduction to Terry Pratchett. The conversation between Rincewind, Twoflower and Swires, along with the Summoning of Death from a party (complete with cocktail stick delicacy) by the Wizards from the same part of the book was reproduced in the pages of the gaming magazine White Dwarf sometime around 1985 or 6, presumably in an attempt to draw new readers into what was then far from a franchise. I even remember where I read it. It's funny really, because it wasn't until about six years later, when I borrowed Wyrd Sisters that I became hooked on them, and have never looked back since.--Knmatt 22:41, 3 December 2010 (CET)
