Talk:Zchloty

Is there a reason why an article on a small unit of coinage is listed under "Discworld geography"? (And, for that matter, under Locations in the Colour of Magic page)? TC01 18:42, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

No, except that we don't have a category for things. I've been trying to think what goes in one and what to call it for ages. Is "Zchloty" even spelled right? --Old Dickens 18:49, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

What is it?

Neither The New Discworld Companion nor Turtle Recall nor yet The Compleat Discworld Atlas mentions "Zchloty". The quote from The Colour of Magic is 'he selected a Zchloty leaden quarter-iotum', suggesting that the monetary unit is the iotum and it comes from Zchloty (or Zchlot with the"y" used as -ian or -ish). --Old Dickens (talk) 01:06, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

For completeness' sake, I've checked and it's also not mentioned in The Ultimate Discworld Companion. -- Guybrush (talk) 01:41, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
