This hitherto un-named thoroughfare, formerly thought to be an extension of Pallant Street, leads from the junction of Pallant with Spa Lane and Hopesprings down to Brookless End and thence into Hen & Chickens Field. Apparently a former gravedigger at the Small Gods Overflow Cemetery once worked a scam and made himself rich by providing a seemingly endless source of bonemeal agricultural fertiliser, ask no questions, squire.
