Given that Granny is a grandmother and given what one has to do to become a mother, let alone grandmother, I'm guessing the virgin business is misinformation. Moriah

Oops. I haven't read any of the Witches books yet and foolishly assumed that 'Granny' was so called because she *was* a grandmother. I have since realized my mistake. Moriah.
