Jethro Jefferson is the smith of the village near to Ramkin Hall who rather foolishly decides to vent his anger with the local authorities in a bout of fisticuffs with Samuel Vimes where he comes close to adding to the list of men who have the words 'refused Fantailler' on his tombstone. In possession of a hot temper, he quickly cools off.
