Malus equilibria

A most unusual tree even by Discworld standards in that when one of its apples falls to the ground another rises to the heavens. The properties of the tree were discovered by one of Sybil Ramkin's ancestors, Woolsthorpe Ramkin. The apples, unfortunately, according to Willikins taste like dog's business.
