Bake Angels

This hitherto un-named thoroughfare, formerly thought to be an extension of Pallant Street, leads from the junction of Pallant with Spa Lane and Hopesprings down to Brookless End and thence into Hen And Chickens Field. Apparently a former gravedigger at the Small Gods Overflow Cemetery once worked a scam and made himself rich by providing a seemingly endless source of bonemeal agricultural fertiliser, ask no questions, squire. The robust Ankh-Morpork sense of humour generated the name.
