The God of Watchmen is a hypothetical deity who gives patronage to Watchmen - that is, watches the Watchmen. It is not known if this deity exists. In Guards! Guards! Samuel Vimes remarks that 'You get gods for every other profession; heroes, thieves, assassins and ladies of the night, but not watchmen. Probably not flash enough for them.' In addition, Carrot Ironfoundersson said in The Last Hero 'Coppers are too suspicious to trust anything that claims to be a God of them'. There is, however, the Summoning Dark.
