Golem Spotter Weekly is a magazine mentioned in passing in Unseen Academicals. Presumably geeks had, without the lure of trains (or at least until the Undertaking or the advent of Raising Steam), found a way to make a hobby out of seeing every golem in Ankh-Morpork whether in situ or just in the streets.

Annotation

The original hobby for geeks (in England at least), trainspotting has become entirely pejorative. To be called a trainspotter is to have anal retentiveness to the nth degree ascribed to one. Presumably golem spotters have something of the nerdy about them. Perhaps like pin collectors...
