Referenced in Carpe Jugulum, this is a country somewhere on the Disc where vampires are dispatched by cutting off all their toes and driving a nail through their neck.

Annotation

Another double-edged pun: reminiscent of Kashmir on Roundworld. Kashmir is a region of the Indian subcontinent disputed between India and Pakistan. And of course a common occupation of Indian and Pakistani immigrants into Britain is the retail trade, especially of foodstuffs and domestic provisions: hence "Cash and Carry", a wholesale retailers...

And of course it's not just Britain these days. Think of Apu in "The Simpsons", the Indian who runs Springfield's 24-hour seven-eleven!
