Lake Overshot is a geographical feature situated in the region in between The Shires and Ohulan Cutash, probably in the Overhangs. It is a scenically beautiful location and great for fishing, as Geoffrey Indigo knew. It features in Raising Steam, where it is inadvertently drained, briefly, by Umnian Golems attempting to move underground in conditions of great secrecy and discretion. This was much to the discomfort of a resident Nymph who expressed her displeasure at the nearest convenient target (Geoffrey), although the golems did put the water back and left the place as they found it.
