Rob Wilkins became Sir Terry Pratchett's personal assistant in the year 2000, after working for Colin Smythe for two years. He went on to become Pratchett’s manager and, in the last years of Terry's life, his general factotum, managing those areas where Terry was increasingly unable to function for himself owing to Embuggerance.

Wilkins currently manages the Pratchett literary estate, and runs Narativia with Rhianna Pratchett. He is also the author of the official Terry Pratchett biography Terry Pratchett: A Life with Footnotes.
