Smork is a coastal port in Hergen and is the nearest thing to its capital city. It can be located from many leagues away even in the thickest fog by the smell of the many smokehouses dedicated to creating smoked herring, Smork Smokies, sursstroming, lutefisk and other fish products in the throes of being preserved. As well as the rendering of whale-oil. Experienced sailors claim the smell is as good as a lighthouse.
