So there are now a bunch of active Pratchett podcasts, most of them Discworld read-throughs. I'm considering going through and adding a section to each book linking to the podcast episodes for each one, but I'm also wondering if that would be made easier by adding individual pages for each podcast which could then host episode listings with external links? Or at the very least a separate Podcasts page, so the list here can be expanded with a bit more detail. Full disclosure - one of the podcasts (Pratchat) is mine. But I'm considering this because while we do have an episodes index on our web site, not all the others do, so finding an episode for a particular book isn't always easy - and it would be nice for there to be a place to find all the various podcast discussions of a given book. -- Guybrush (talk) 12:49, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

:I'd say a single Podcasts page: easier to find, and we don't usually give single peripherals whole pages (I don't care much for whole pages on non-canonical game characters, either).  --Old Dickens (talk) 15:20, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

I got an e-mail from Lady LeJean the other day (Apr.2011). Addicted to Discworld has died, unfortunately. --Old Dickens 01:04, 7 April 2011 (CEST)

Also, Discworld Extended shows no activity for three years. Perhaps it should be removed too. --Old Dickens 16:09, 30 April 2011 (CEST)

R.I.P. "Cheerycomic". I guess I should have archived some of that. --Old Dickens 00:43, 8 June 2011 (CEST)

Doesn't "Fan Fiction" want a separate page? Yes, in fact I wonder why it didn't have one before, an over-view as well as specific mentions. --Old Dickens 21:53, 28 October 2011 (CEST)

*votes in favour of the idea*--LilMaibe 23:16, 28 October 2011 (CEST)

The Bard of Stockport may be too modest in his invocation of Sturgeon's Revelation, there. I'd suggest maybe 90% crud, 8% filler and 2% gold. Fortunately he's been able to contibute to the 2% occasionally. --Old Dickens 04:03, 29 October 2011 (CEST)

I haven't been collecting miniatures for about 15 years. And the scale is all wrong anyways ;) But for the interested I added a link for a polish manufacturing company. --Ttias 22:52, 28 October 2011 (CEST)

Fraud

The "Match It For Pratchett" link here has been appropriated by the Asian bookmaking site sbobet.com and I have deleted it (I wonder if they're connected to the recent match-fixing scandals, too). I don't see a legitimate replacement immediately. Meanwhile, I'd suggest a donation to your national Alzheimer's Society. --Old Dickens (talk) 02:07, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

...and then, although it's all very well to be comprehensive, I'm reluctant to promote "The other Discworld Wikia" which contains mainly material stolen from here, without credit. --Old Dickens (talk) 01:52, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
