Vimes is assured that this can't happen again (because Keenside doesn't have any more teeth).]

But with an Igor working for the Watch these days, perhaps truly advanced dentistry is possible?

Nice to see the Sage of Stockport again, but I'm confused. Old Dickens 01:49, 27 May 2012 (CEST)

Heh... I recall the scene in The Truth where Sam tries to show off the speaking tube system to William de Worde and fails completely. Now high-power hydraulics were also used to power uinternal communication systems where, for instance, internal memos were sent via tubes between floors and offices, powered by compressed air. I recall Vimes saying they'd trailled something like that in the Yard, but in hindsight with too much air behind them - hence the loss of Lance-Constabel Keenside's teeth. Now if the Igor in the basement can bio-replace eyes and noses and other bodily parts - what about a production line for replacement teeth? Just a thought.

And glad to be back, btw, after being discontinued by the RBS! Relaxing between engagements, like one of Vitoller's strolling players. Money in the bank, I have stopped smoking (eight months now) minimal outgoings, enough in the bank to pay the bills until September, but looking for new jobs anyway. With night work receding into the past - getting back to normal! AgProv 01:59, 27 May 2012 (CEST)
