Why is Il Trovatore left out? --Old Dickens 15:07, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Because I don't know enough about opera to get'em all. Put it in by all means Iron Hippo 15:26, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Fixed it -- Iron Hippo 15:32, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Oh. I supposed you were doing it because you were an opera fan. Bloodaxe & Ironhammer is much like "Tristan und Isolde", too, although the story's mixed with "Romeo and Juliet" (Gounod.) --Old Dickens 18:36, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Was Chicken Lake described as an opera? {Ballet might be mounted at the Opera House, too, but it ain't opera.) --Old Dickens 23:49, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
It is "pretentious high-brow culture" so I thought it would fit right in. Ballet as part of an opera or a performance of just ballet; same pretentious audience. --Iron Hippo 06:09, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Should maybe think about changing opening paragraph to Opera and other pretentious culture. I'll mull it over--Iron Hippo 06:22, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Stub begone!

I dropped the stub, it's mostly done. Sound off if you think otherwise Iron Hippo 02:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Lohenshaak

Here's me only noticing the resemblance to loan shark. No imagination. --Old Dickens 21:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

I assumed Lohenshaak…

… was a take on Lohengrin, and Love Shack. However, I then sounded it out and got Loan Shark. Considering that the swan sings "Schneide meinen eigenen Halls…" ("cut my own throat…") and Sir Terry's penchant for multiple puns, I'm guessing: all three. :D
