As noted in [[Talk:Cost of Living in Ankh-Morpork]], boots seem extraordinarily expensive in A-M. The cheapest factory-made boots cost ten days' pay and a bootmaker gets easily five dollars a day for a week to make a good pair. Expensive either way
As noted in Talk:Cost of Living in Ankh-Morpork, boots seem extraordinarily expensive in A-M. The cheapest factory-made boots cost ten days' pay and a bootmaker gets easily five dollars a day for a week to make a good pair.
