Talk:Book:The Compleat Ankh-Morpork

This book is detailed. There is such a wealth of trivia here - a full list of guilds and their heirarchies, merchants, traders, retailers, institutions, courts, even retirement homes for trolls and dwarves - that it is going to take time to transfer it all over to the Wiki. And did I mention the updated Mapp "Streets of Ankh-Morpork" that comes free with the book? It's going to take some time to get all these new streets and locations up on the Wiki...AgProv (talk) 13:43, 16 November 2012 (PST)

My first thought was how to keep people from listing hundreds of pubs (there may be four pages of new ones), but should we publish pages of minutiae because the book doesn't get any heavier? It's a matter of how you use it, I suppose. I prefer a more concise article in which it's easier to find likely search objects, but a repository of every known thing TP ever mentioned could be valuable, too. The wiki system should allow both, but I can't think how to do it and enforce the protocol. --Old Dickens (talk) 18:15, 16 November 2012 (PST)

The app needs its own page?

Discworld: The Ankh-Morpork Map This map was also released as an interactive app for IOS systems that contains some additional material and other game related additions such as achievements. https://www.terrypratchettbooks.com/farewell-discworld-app/

If you like, I will add a page for the map app. I have the app. It has a good deal of additional information, including the precise location of the Lady Sybil Free Hospital.

The link redirected to terrypratchettbooks.com; I updated it. The app is no longer available and won't work on the new iOS. Like TP, I don't use Apple. --Old Dickens (talk) 05:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Sad to see the app go (it still plays on my old iPad) but that's the problem with apps and iOS upgrading. Nice website, though. I hadn't seen it before. --Wonderful Fanny
