Do we really need seperate articles for this and the Tower of Teeth? TC01 19:50, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

This was in the Wanted Pages list, as two articles linked to it and it was nonexistent. I created the page for this reason. Doctor Whiteface 21:37, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Okay... but my point was that the two pages, this and Tower of Teeth, appear to be about the same thing- the domain of the Tooth Fairy. So I think that the two pages should be combined and one turned into a redirect to the other. But which name is more accurate- "Child's Painting Land", or "Tower of Teeth"? Or either?
Not saying that you did a bad thing by creating the page, just that we already have a page on this subject. I've done something like this before as well. TC01 21:47, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
It's always worth checking to see if there's a slightly differently-named article that you could redirect the others to instead of doing work that's pretty much already there. Somebody once spent ages writing a multi-thousand character essay on the number between 7 and 9 without once checking to find that there was already an enormous article named 7a... Can you guess who that was? A lesson learned, Doctor, a lesson learned... --Knmatt 21:47, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Why not just combine the two into a Domain of the Tooth Fairy article and redirect both? --Fhh98 23:30, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
I'd like to combine them, but is there a canonical name for the place? (I'm still looking for Dame Schools.) --Old Dickens 23:38, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't think there is, but I could be wrong... I like "Tooth Fairy's Domain", simply because it fits an established pattern (Death's Domain). TC01 23:45, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

I edited it. Better?

Now the Painting Land refers to the area outside the Tower, and the Tower area refers to the inside. Doctor Whiteface 00:13, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Honestly, I still feel that there is not enough information on both topics, or even enough of a difference between the two, to justify two articles. That's why I would support either:
a. Creating a "Tooth Fairy's Domain" page with information from the two articles, and then redirect both there.
b. Move information from "Tower of Teeth" here, and redirect that here.
Which would be better? Or am I even correct, and is there enough information for both articles? TC01 20:38, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Since they're two separate and distinct areas (and given the nature of the Painting Land, possibly two separate dimensions) I don't think they should be combined into a single article. The Painting could be older than the Tower, or vice versa, depending on when 'the' Bogeyman took up the Tooth Fairy job and when the Painting Land had enough belief to become real.
