On the edit of "orang": the canonical spelling is "orang outang (The Light Fantastic), but orang refers to several Indonesian Bhangbhangduc apes, none of which is found in the menagerie. Of course orang (o)utan(g) means "man of the forest" but I don't suppose they take it literally any more than we think a sea horse is equine. --Old Dickens (talk) 14:49, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
