Refer to Foul Ole Ron (discussion) for an annotation, of sorts, which might explain where Kidby got the inspiration from for his characterisation of the reality-challenged beggar Ron. If he didn't, it's an interesting coincidence!--AgProv 12:59, 3 May 2007 (CEST)

Wikipedia doubts whether Mr Kidby is notable enough for inclusion, not being as illustrious as, say, "streetball" player 1/2 Man 1/2 Amazing or Finnish footballer Nosh A Lody or one-time French speed-skater Jean-Noël Fagot.
