It's not dyslexia, just a combination of accent and illiteracy. I'm sure you have that accent in England, but I can't place it. I think of the state of Maine, in Merkia, where "Margaret" would be pronounced "Magrat" , and if you didn't read and write much, you'd spell it that way. --Old Dickens 04:24, 2 January 2008 (CET)

Point taken! Reference to "dyslexia" removed. I've seen the old Nantucket accent written down phonetically - although it's from a little bit further south, I get exactly what you mean re. old-time New England pronunciation!--AgProv 12:02, 2 January 2008 (CET) the animated Wyrd Sisters they pronounce it Măg-rát, and this corresponds to Shawn Ogg's announcement early in Lords and Ladies. I can't make any sense of that. I still wish for audio "media" files for a pronouncing guide. --Old Dickens 02:26, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
