An assassin of uncertain nationality. The brother of Queen Artela and uncle of Pteppicymon XXVIII, he was instrumental in persuading Pharoah Pteppicymon XXVII to over-rule the objections of Dios, and send young Teppic to be trained at the Assassins' Guild in Ankh-Morpork.

After all, it's not as if it's a mere job, it's a profession, and as such, suitable for an otherwise unemployed young Royal.
