It is said that in return for a generous donation to charity, the more affluent Pratchett fan can be immortalised in the Discworld by having their name used for a minor character. Marco Soto is apparently one example; the Assassin Dr Follett is another, named for New "Labour" politician and author Ken Follett. There is also a former Cabinet minister and politician in the UK called David Blunkett. One wonders...--AgProv 09:57, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
