Gravelhang

Gravelhang is a town on the Altiplano Express Line in between Fustic Wells and Zemphis. It is high in the hills and is regarded by Mrs Georgina Bradshaw as being of virtually no interest whatsoever, having no inns, no public buildings, only the most basic clacks relay station, and a general store selling only canned food, tobacco products, and banjo strings. Apparently the Grand Trunk insists only human operatives are posted here, as it fears old-time attitudes towards goblins still persist. It is also hoped a continual relay of bored young men from the big wide Disc outside, who will naturally be of interest to Gravelhang's female population, will ultimately improve the gene pool. Cynical commentators point out that goblins would improve the local gene pool.
