Archmage of Ymitury

A wizard mentioned briefly in The Colour of Magic.

According to the barbarian hero the Weasel, the Archmage of Ymitury was notoriously powerful. However, he evidently wasn't powerful enough, as the Weasel and his fellow barbarian, Bravd the Hublander, were able to part him of his staff, belt of moon jewels, and his life, in approximately that order.

Some wizards at the Unseen University have questioned how any mage could have been defeated by two heroes, leading to speculation that he could have been a charlatan, or worse a foreigner.
