Gertruder Tiring

One of the apprentice witches that was a member of the coven set up by Annagramma Hawkin. When she first appears she and the rest of the girls are all intimidated by Annagramma, and act like a flock of sheep confronted by a noisy dog. By the later books most of the girls have matured and lost their fear of Annagramma, especially Tiffany, Petulia and Lucy. It is to be hoped that Gertuder has done so as well.
