Thanks! The issue with the over-gothic eyes and the cheekbones is on a "to-do" list and hopefully will be corrected when I have leisure to make corrections. Look upon this as provisional for the moment! AgProv (talk) 03:08, 23 December 2012 (PST)
New version uploaded with less Gothic eye make-up, cheekbones de-emphasised slightly,  a little more grey creeping in at the roots, and a slight hint of corsetry being asked to do way too much.AgProv (talk) 16:05, 29 December 2012 (PST)

artwork: This is a bit rushed... but I wanted to get something on paper and uploaded before the ritual family visit at Christmas.

This is a first attempt at senior Assassin Lady T'Malia, a mature lady who seeks to fend off the passing years with ever-more-heroic corsetry, hair dye, and lots of makeup.

She appears in Terry Pratchett's "Pyramids" as teacher of Political Expediency: I see her as still there at the Guild School, mentoring and guiding the steps of the new generation of lady teachers.

I have based her on a stock photography of a Roundworld lady in the same position, actress and diva Joan Collins (a woman surely born to play T'Malia on any film or TV version). It also makes sense that her clothing should be up to fifty years behind current fashion. There is a hint of rings on her right hand.

Sketched in pencils and inks, uploaded and coloured in Gimp. Not perfect I know, but there will be better. If it's a bit crappy - the attempt at a slightly Goth look seems a bit overplayed - please tell me. Better images will follow!

She looks a bit wide eyed and dazed. In my fanfic, one thing that makes her have a bad hair day is dealing with Madame Deux-Epées' notion of a liberal arts curriculum, something many parents view as far too liberal, thank you very much. AgProv (talk) 18:02, 22 December 2012 (PST)
