Chittling Street

Location of a new Watch House opened during Feet of Clay that later had problems with its drains in The Fifth Elephant. It extends Cockbill Street to Quarry Lane across the hubward side of the Cattle Market. Since most other street names in the area refer to meat, offal and butchery, we suspect the name is an erosion of chitterling.
