The Cattle Market is an area of Morpork below The Shades bounded by Humble Street, Chittling Street and The Shambles. Not surprisingly it hosts a daily livestock market. It is served by a drovers' pub called the Butcher's Eagle, where Moist von Lipwig stashed one of his many boxes (and alternative identities) for safety.
Wee Mad Arthur discourages (as only he can} the use of rat poison in the area, since it is a valuable source of his produce.
