The Cattle Market is an area of Morpork below The Shades bounded by Humble Street, Chittling Street and The Shambles. Not surprisingly it hosts a daily livestock market. It is served by a drovers' pub called the Butcher's Eagle, where Moist von Lipwig stashed one of his many boxes (and alternative identities) for safety.
Wee Mad Arthur discourages (as only he can) the use of rat poison in the area, since it is a valuable source of his produce.
