The ''Elephant Road'' is the title of a long narrative poem by [[Felicity Beedle]], quoted in part in {{CDA}}. It tells the story of the mysterious Elephant Road out of the [[Kingdom of Howondaland]], created when for no immediately explicable reason, up to a thousand elephants chose to form a super-herd and migrate. Some say they made it as far as distant Ankh-Morpork.
