A minor character in Witches Abroad. Albert Hurker lives in Lancre, and is commonly known as "Hurker the poacher". He considered Desiderata Hollow to be one of the better witches (viewing the rest of them to be "as fine as bunch of women as you could ever hope to avoid"). She gave him instructions to have her buried around the back of her cottage. After completing this task, he found a note with instructions to deliver a letter and Desiderata's magic wand to Magrat Garlick, and a warning that he would have his leg bitten off by an enraged wolf if he did not.
Was willing to listen to any amount of gibberish in exchange for a penny, and did so when delivering the wand to Magrat.
