Unseen Academicals

The Unseen Academicals are the foot-the-ball team mounted by Unseen University. The name was chosen after the wizards realized that the simpler "UU" (for Unseen University) logo would create an unfortunate image on the front of the players' uniforms.

The team won its first match against the Ankh-Morpork United, but its second match against Brazeneck University has been postponed.

Players

Current members of the UA's include

• Mustrum Ridcully - as Archchancellor, the automatic team captain
• Ponder Stibbons - the sportsmaster-by-default of Unseen University, Mr. Stibbons is the team's coach-by-default
• Mr. Nutt - the actual brains behind the team
• Trevor Likely -sub and a champion kicker of cans and son of a legendary player
• Bledlow Alphonse Nobbs (no relation)
• The Librarian - the team's goalie
• Dr Hix
• Bengo Macarona
• Rincewind
• Bledlow Frankly Ottomy
